The story goes that Astara was founded by two women at the suggestion of their guru. I tried Astara products in 1998 when they first came out. Antioxidant technology was just coming on the scene and Astara was one of the first products available with antioxidants and microclusters. I was impressed with their entire line: from face washes to their famous blue flame mask.
Astara products are available in high end salons, at select Sephora stores and online at the Astara website.
I'm intrigued by their Activated Antioxidant Infusion - which has extract from an orchid known for "Eternal Youth" in the Andean Mountains!
