Make my Day

I was driving earlier today and I saw a sign on the back of a tractor trailer: "Make my Day: Flash Me!

At first I chuckled at how typical this sentiment was for a trucker, but before I could finish my chuckle, I thought - how wonderful. Here was a simple and easy way to make this guy's day: merely flashing him. It got me thinking about what thing would make my day. Coffee? No. Lots of money? No. Fame, Fortune, the Fountain of Youth? No.

Could I find something as simple as this truck driver? Only now, have I realized what makes my day. Seeing the magic. When I can see the magic in everyday life - a moment of awareness or understanding or just a little bliss, that makes my day. When I find the enlightenment in a truck driver's desire for boobies - I've made my day.
